Time is certainly a luxury nowadays. This is evidenced by the fact that people are always looking for ways to speed up things, make things more convenient, easier to do, without compromising quality and production. However, with weight loss, it is different. Unless you opt for surgical procedures, and those recently innovated non-invasive ways to lose weight, and spend a lot of time, you won’t be speeding up your weight loss plan anytime soon. However, if one really wants to know how to lose belly fat and weight, fast and effectively, then take heed and read well.
- In order to speed up weight loss, one must remember, not to go for crash diets that literally force you to starve yourself to death. Instead, do research on the correct types of food that help you feel satisfied and full, without containing much calories, such as lean meat, fish, vegetables and fruits.
- The best way to lose belly fat isn’t through crunches, but rather, through whole body exercises. You won’t be developing six-pack abs anytime soon if you just plan on doing crunches on your way there. Instead, develop your whole body instead, and the six-pack abs will come. If you can’t go to the gym and lift weights, then lift yourself instead, do push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and other toning exercises that are proven to be effective.
- Contrary to popular belief, weight lifting and toning exercises burn more calories than cardiovascular exercises do. This is because, when you lift weights and do toning exercises, you make your muscles firmer and make them bigger, and it is common knowledge, that muscles burn calories at a constant rate, even when the body is at rest. So, if you have a toned body, then chances are, you’ll be burning more calories than an average person, even when you are sleeping.
- Eat! The best way to lose weight and belly fat is eat, but, don’t overeat. Instead of eating 3 full-meals everyday, during the morning, lunch and the evening, try dividing that into 6-8 smaller portion meals, with each portion containing about 200-300 calories, or to approximate that, meals that are not larger than your fist, and eat them with two-three hours interval between each meal. The reason for this is that, when a person eats a constant rate, his metabolism constantly is moving, and there is less chance of congestion, which in turn, leads to the metabolism working faster and you, defecating more.
