Everyone is wondering how to lose weight fast these days. There are “miracle” diets, hardcore workouts and a bunch of scams with herbs, teas and pills.
I find it much easier and healthier to lose weight by eating healthy. You don’t have to eat less, you don’t have to eat foods you don’t like, you just have to change your eating habits a little bit.
Speed Weight Loss
It is true though, that this isn’t the fastest way to lose weight. If you want speed, add a workout too. Exercising has a lot of benefits for your health. You don’t have to go crazy and pick a hardcore workout program. A bit of stretching in the morning, some running once a week and a hiking trip from time to time is more than sufficient.
Eating Habits
But even if you don’t exercise you will still lose weight just by respecting some simple to follow rules. First of all eat 3 meals a day. Eat a big breakfast, it will sustain you the whole day. Follow it with an early lunch and have a light dinner with at least 4 hours before you go to sleep.
I used to skip the breakfast altogether and eat when I came home from work at 6 PM. Needless to say I was VERY hungry after not eating for the whole day. I would stuff myself and then just before sleep at 11-12 PM I would have a snack in front of the TV. Overall I wasn’t eating a large quantity of food, but the way I ate it is what counted. It is very important to eat a very light dinner, only a salad, or a cup of tea and some bread with honey and butter. And eat your dinner 4-5 hours before you go to sleep. That way your body will be able to digest the food before you go to sleep, and you will rest properly during the night. This will mean a big appetite in the morning, which is very good. Eat a consistent meal in the morning. You will feel more energized, more rested and at the same time you will lose weight just by following these simple suggestions.
They are easy to follow, but make sure you follow them all the time. And try to go easy with sugar too, replace it with honey! Much healthier and it will help with you to lose belly fat too.
